When the team behind super club Liverpool Cream decided to hold a music festival in 1998, they could not have foreseen the monster that Creamfields would become.

The very first festival was held in 1998 in Winchester, Hampshire and saw Sasha, Paul Van Dyk and Daft Punk headlining.

The 2021 festival will see names such as David Guetta, Carl Cox and Chase & Status take to the stage.

To help celebrate its return, we’re taking a look at some of the best crowd photos from the event over the past 20 years.
