All three Glastonbury Festival 2022 headliners are ‘confirmed’ and one is Paul McCartney

Sir Paul McCartney will headline the Glastonbury Festival this year, according to reports. Macca will headline the three-day party at Worthy Farm.

The three-day event in Pilton, Somerset comes just a week after his 80th birthday. The Beatles star will finally perform on the Pyramid Stage in June.

In 2020, he said, “People say it would be nice if I did it, so I’m starting to wonder if I can or would it be a good thing… It’s starting to become kind of a remote possibility. ”

“He’s really excited for this and is determined to put on a hell of a show filled with all the hits. He really feels ready to hit the road again in the States and then will be looking forward to tackling Glasto when he returns.

“There were discussions about whether he should continue with shows this year due to the situation with Covid, but he decided he really wanted to perform.” Glastonbury takes place in June.
