Billie Eilish has been confirmed to headline Glastonbury Festival 2022.
The 19-year-old Bad Guy singer will perform on the famous Pyramid Stage on the Friday night of the festival on June 24.
She had appeared to break the news herself in a post she shared on her Instagram Stories on Sunday evening.
Billie wore a Glastonbury hoodie and beamed for the camera as she captioned the image “2022”.
The news was later confirmed by Glastonbury co-organizer Emily Eavis, who said: “We couldn’t be happier to announce that the wonderful Billie Eilish will headline The Pyramid on Friday at the London festival. Glastonbury next year, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history.

“It seems like the perfect way for us to come back and I can’t wait!”
Fans had speculated that Billie would headline Glastonbury as she was on tour at the time.
His Happier Than Ever European tour in 2022 has a gap in Glastonbury’s Friday night schedule.
She will also play at the O2 Arena in London on June 25 and 26.
Billie performed at the festival in 2019 on The Other Stage, and will take to the main stage at Glastonbury next year.
During her first performance, she said, “It’s like the whole world is watching me right now.”
The Glastonbury Festival has been canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Although the restrictions were lifted in June this year, the festival did not take place as the organizers did not have enough time to organize it.

Tickets for 2022 are sold out as those who got them for the canceled 2020 event can use them next year.
Aerosmith is set to be another headliner after being confirmed for the canceled 2021 festival.
Elton John is also rumored to be performing in 2022, with a similar gap in the schedule for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
Queens Of The Stone Age is one of the names tipped to headline The Other Stage.
It is also hoped Diana Ross will return to fill the Sunday afternoon legends slot she was confirmed for in 2020.
Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift were scheduled to headline the 2020 event before it was canceled.
More artists are expected to be added to the 2022 lineup in the coming months.
The Glastonbury Festival 2022 will take place from June 22 to June 26.
