Camp Bestival 2019 lineup – festival headliners, ticket availability and latest weather forecast
CAMP Bestival is off to a good start, with the annual event kicking off on Thursday July 25, 2019 following the cancellation of the music festival in 2018.
Organizers were forced to shut down the festival due to bad weather, but it’s back, with a stellar lineup. Here’s everything you need to know about the music show.
When is Camp Bestival and where does it take place?
Five-time Best Family Festival winner Camp Bestival kicked off Thursday, July 25, 2019 and ends Monday, July 29, 2019.
Jess Glynne, who pulled out of her gig on the Isle of Wight in June 2019, opens the show on Friday night.
The event, which began in 2008, is held on the grounds of Lulworth Castle on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
A huge children’s garden is located on the site, as the festival caters to children and adults.
Who plays at Camp Bestival?
Some of the biggest names in music will perform at the event including Nile Rodgers & Chic, Annie Mac and Sister Sledge.
Other artists present at the event are Rak-Su, House Gospel Choir, Lewis Capaldi, Big Shaq and Goldie.

In addition to the shows, the organizers will produce attractions and activities for festival-goers and a well-being and fitness area, dedicated to rejuvenation and rebalancing.
Where can I get tickets for Camp Bestival and how much do they cost?
Tickets for children 2-17 and adults can be purchased through Camp Bestival website.
Prices vary between £15 and £197.50, depending on the age category the ticket holder belongs to.
Although infants (one year and under) are free, a ticket must also be ordered at the same time a paid ticket is brought.
Attendees can also make additional purchases such as the Backstage Camping Upgrade and Boutique Camping.

What’s the weather like for Camp Bestival?
Camp Bestival was canceled last year due to bad weather and this year festival goers are expected to face poor conditions again.
According to office met the forecast for July 26 through July 29 will be warm and slightly cloudy, with the hottest day being TODAY (Thursday July 25, 2019).
On weekends, there may be rain in the morning.
A message on the official website reads: “Outbreaks of rain in the east will dissipate throughout the morning, leaving a severe drought with sunny spells and isolated showers.
Feeling cooler than Thursday. Maximum temperature 23°C.
Sunny periods and isolated showers on Saturday. More cloudy with a few sunny spells and scattered showers on Sunday. Becoming cloudier and windier Monday with some rain.”
