Camp Bestival 2022: Tickets, dates, lineup and more – everything we know so far

With Christmas now firmly in the rearview mirror, many families are looking for fun activities to put on their calendars for the coming year.

Step inside, Dorset’s very own Camp Bestival.

The festival’s website tells us that it “combines action-packed festival adventures with a fantastic family camping holiday”, making it the perfect summer treat for families looking to do something different.

Since its debut in 2008, the festival (organized by Josie and Rob Da Bank) has won numerous awards, including Best New Festival and Best Family Festival (a distinction they have won six times).

The festival will take place at two venues this year, with a new venue away from Dorset on different dates.

One will however remain in our county, in the beautiful grounds of Lulworth Castle in Dorset, as always.

The second new event will take place at Weston Park in Shropshire.

When is Camp Bestival 2022?

This year’s Dorset Festival will take place over the weekend of July 28-31, 2022.

The new Shropshire event will be held August 18-21, 2022.

The programming of Camp Bestival 2022

It is still too early to know the 2022 program.

But the 2021 lineup included mainstream artists like Becky Hill, Fatboy Slim, Blossoms, Level 42 and Groove Armada.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor was also due to appear but was forced to cancel.

Other stages saw appearances from Dom Jolly, DJ Emma, ​​Tim Burgess, Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems and Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer last year, among many others.

The festival will unveil this year’s lineup later this year.

How much do Camp Bestival tickets cost?

The official ticket seller for the festival is Ticketmaster, and they list the current prices as follows:

  • Adult weekend – £190 (+ booking fee)
  • 13-17 Weekend – £140 (+ booking fee)
  • 10-12 Weekend – £115 (+ booking fee)
  • Weekend 5-9 – £95 (+ booking fee)
  • Weekend 4 and under – £75 (+ booking fee)
  • Babes In Arms (1 year and under) – FREE (but ticket required)
