Camp Bestival confirms Fatboy Slim, Rag n Bone Man and Becky Hill

A BLAST from the past is coming to Shropshire later this year.

The lineup for the first-ever Camp Bestival has been announced and includes Fatboy Slim, alongside headlining Rag’n’Bone Man and Becky Hill.

The stellar sister show to the UK’s favorite family festival is coming to Weston Park in August with an incredible lineup.

From Cosmic Kids Yoga and Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors to Brainiac Live: Remixed! There is something for every taste.

Camp Bestival curators Josie and Rob da Bank said, “It’s so exciting to announce a new festival and always exciting to announce the first lineup.

“Camp Bestival isn’t just a music festival – it’s a living, breathing art, food, wellness and four-day theatrical extravaganza where small left-wing bands are as important as the heads of poster like Fatboy Slim and Becky Hill.

“Add in a stunt bike and shooting range, world-pounding comedy, laughter yoga, a huge focus on dress-up, inclusivity and accessibility for all and we literally can’t wait to unveil it all in August. .

“See you soon in the fields! »

So who else will be there?

BBC Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox will also perform and lead a free-for-all costume party on Saturday in fancy dress, while Faithless (DJ Set) will be on hand with a very special DJ set led by the iconic Sister Bliss.

Pioneers of the acid house movement 808 State will also join the line-up while Britpop legends Shed Seven will inject some indie disco into the weekend and Scouting For Girls will bring their pop-rock sounds.

It wouldn’t be Camp Bestival without the Cuban Brothers who will be making appearances throughout the weekend, while Heather Small will delight the crowds with M People singing anthems like “Moving On Up” and “One Night In Heaven.”

Renowned for their party bangers, Example returns to the Camp Bestival stage and feel-good hit kings, The Proclaimers are sure to lift the crowds with the infamous anthem I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).

The fun doesn’t stop there as DJs Gok Wan and Camp Bestival’s favorite unstoppable force, Jodie Harsh, will deliver spectacular, scintillating sets the whole family will remember for a lifetime.

Multi-award winning British comedian and writer Dom Joly leads the Shropshire comedy lineup which will also see performances from Comedy Club 4 Kids and Man vs Baby with many more yet to be announced.

Is it family?

And if the festival’s fun lineup wasn’t enough, families can get lost in four days of theatre, wellness workshops, circus performances, comedy, a tantalizing array of exquisite food and drink, and healthy activities including Water & Stone Wild Spas, Ice Baths, Wild Swimming, Paddle-boarding, Breathwork & Yoga, Sleep Retreat and more – all located in pristine Weston Park designed by England’s leading gardener England, Capability Brown.

Camp Bestival Shropshire will host a wonderland of vast green spaces, lush lawns, verdant parks and enchanting forests and will provide a judgment-free zone for parents and a weekend of fun for all.

With food stalls and kitchens galore, you can forget about lukewarm porridge out of a pot, and what’s more, the sheer number of activities on offer means kids (and parents!) are guaranteed a good night’s sleep no matter what.
