Camp Bestival is coming to Weston Park – how to get tickets

The first ever Camp Bestival Shropshire will take place at Weston Park next summer.

It will be a sister event to the existing Camp Bestival which attracts thousands of visitors a year to Lulworth Castle in Dorset.

Organizers say the new stand-alone event will bring all the unique and family-essential elements of the original Camp Bestival to the Midlands between August 18 and August 21, 2022.

There will be spacious general camping, camping plus, backstage camping, boutique offers, motorhomes, caravans and more.

What the organizers said

Organizers say Camp Bestival Shropshire will be a new stand-alone event bringing all the unique and essential family elements of the original Camp Bestival to the heart of England.

Festival co-curators Josie and Rob da Bank said: “The House of da Bank is about to explode with excitement that we can finally announce our first new festival in many years as we kick off Camp Bestival Shropshire.

“Located in the heart of England, Josie and I couldn’t be prouder or more delighted to have finally found a site that is not only worthy of a second Camp Bestival, but is also exquisitely beautiful.

“Weston Park has all the elements we love, magical forests and loads of green fields, lakes and a backdrop of a historic stately home.

“Following the success of Camp Bestival in Dorset, we are delighted to add this new event to our family of festivals to meet popular geographic and practical demand.

“We plan to give this festival as much love and attention as our Heritage Festival in Lulworth and we look forward to seeing you all again at one or the other – or perhaps both!”
