Co-op has launched a cheddar cheese pastry to mark the return of the Glastonbury Festival. The store’s Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar Cheese Bake has hit shelves to coincide with the iconic music event taking place this month.
The latest addition to Co-op’s Irresistible range, the indulgent bake is a blend of Worthy Farm cheese, mature cheddar and crème fraîche, with cider and Somerset mustard – and is priced at £3.50 , but shoppers can grab this summer treat for just £3 until June 21.
Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar, which uses milk from the herd that grazes at Worthy Farm, the home of the festival, delivers a ripe, rounded, and mild flavor with a hint of sweetness that melts into a long-lasting, creamy flavor. Cheese Bake follows the 2021 launch of the exclusive Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar Block in Co-op stores and the Co-op Worthy Farm Cheddar & Pickle Sandwich.
