Creamfields 2022: line-up, opening hours, how to pay and everything you need to know

It’s festival season and Creamfields North are set to return next weekend to Daresbury.

The festival kicks off Thursday August 25 and ends Sunday August 28, 2022 and ticket holders can expect to see performances from Calvin Harris, Becky Hill and more.

The Creamfields North website details a lot of important information for ticket holders. Here’s everything partygoers need to know before attending Creamfields 2022.

What should you bring to Creamfields?

Creamfields is an 18+ festival, so if you’re hoping to attend you’ll need to bring your ID.

You may be required to prove your age at any time during the festival so it is important to have accepted ID with you, see which ID is accepted via the Creamfields website.

If you appear to be under 21, you will be asked to prove your age when purchasing alcohol.

It’s also advisable to be prepared for all weather conditions, but the website says you should “make sure you don’t have too much to carry as there’s no fainting at Creamfields”.

How to pay at Creamfields

Creamfields won’t accept cash in any of its bars or food places, so you’ll need to make sure you can pay by contactless card and Apple Pay being options as well.

Plan your route to and from Creamfields

The website advises ticket holders to stay up to date with traffic and travel news to avoid traffic jams and delays.

It might sound simple, but it’s also a good idea to write down where you parked your car, including the letter of the parking lot it’s in, which makes your exit route a little easier.

The website also instructs ticket holders to ensure they are “fit to drive” if this is their way of returning home from the festival.

If you are staying off-site, taxi pick-up and drop-off is located at North Gate and Creamfields encourages you to “always use licensed taxis and approved methods of transport”.

It is also possible for festival-goers to travel to Daresbury by plane, train, coach and shuttle.
