Creamfields South announce return to Chelmsford in 2023
Following the resounding success of the first-ever edition of Creamfields South, the team behind the UK’s biggest electronic music festival brand have announced that the event will return in 2023, bringing a massive new line-up of world-class talent on the ground at Hylands Park in Chelmsford.
Thousands upon thousands of avid dance-goers descended on historic Chelmsford Park over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, to watch a host of world-class performances in the scorching summer sun. The likes of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Becky Hill, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Andy C, Wilkinson, Charlotte de Witte and more appeared in front of the crowd, playing in a multitude of arenas armed with the best sound and light production.
An instant hit with revelers, the sold-out edition saw Creamfields firmly plant the flag in the south of England for what looks to be a solid and regular fixture on the UK festival circuit.
kicking off next year’s summer, with new dates meaning the event will take place over the Spring Break weekend – From Friday 26 to Sunday 28 May 2023 – Creamfields will end the UK festival season nicely, with the 2023 edition of Creamfields North also set to remain in its traditional slot at the end of August.
Expect bigger stages, bigger sound systems and even bigger queues. Watch this space for more details as they come.
