Creamfields South unveils full 2022 festival lineup

Global dance brand fields of cream is most famous with electronic music fans for the annual northern UK edition, which takes place every bank holiday weekend in August. But this year, the festival is expanding to host two weekends in England. The legendary original, which is still set in Daresbury (Cheshire), but also, a brand new event for the first weekend of June, at Chelmsford (just outside London). ‘South Creamfields’ as the event is officially titled, will host a huge selection of artists across a range of dance music subgenres, with the full lineup dropping for the 2-day extravaganza.

Headlines imply Eric Prydz, with the Swedish producer ready to bring his HOLO concept at the event on Friday, June 3 (Queen’s Jubilee, public holiday). He will also be joined by a range of artists, including Camelphat, Cristoph, Joel Corry, Jonas Blue, Fatboy Slim, acclaimed singer Becky Hill, and DJ Mag number 1 DJ in the world, David Guetta. In the meantime, Saturday will announce the arrival of Calvin Harris, Oliver Heldens, Idris Elba, MK, Carl Cox, deadmau5, Fisher, Pete Tong, Armand Van Helden, and much more. With tickets to the North event already selling out in record time, fans are urged to grab their passes fast if they want to grab a piece of the Creamfields pie this summer.

Beginning in liverpool and becoming an important part of British club culture in the 90s, the Cream The brand has since expanded to various events around the world, hosting an iconic residency for many years in Amnesia, Ibiza. More recently, the company hosted Swedish house mafiafirst UK show (2019) since the legendary Bowl MK concert in 2012, and celebrated their 25th anniversary last year, welcoming artists like Martin Garrix, Above and Beyond, and Pendulum over 4 days/nights.
