Dorset’s Camp Bestival requires ticket holders to prove their covid status

DORSET Camp Bestival Music Festival will be asking participants to provide proof that they are safe this summer.

The highly anticipated event will take place next week from July 29 to August 1 in the grounds of Lulworth Castle.

In order to ensure the safety of guests, the organizers have put in place a requirement that all participants aged 11 and over must prove their Covid-19 status.

Announcing the measures via a series of tweets, a festival spokesperson said: “With your safety as a number one priority, Camp Bestival will ask all ticket holders aged 11 and over to demonstrate their Covid-19 status. before entering the festival.”

Ticket holders can do this by providing EITHER the following:

– Proof of full vaccination – both doses received (with the second at least 14 days before the festival)

Or

– Evidence of a negative NHS lateral flow test taken before travel on the day of arrival at the festival

Or

– Evidence of natural immunity based on a positive PCR test within 180 days of the festival (including 10 days of self-isolation following the result).

Or

Please note that 11-15 year olds will need to have a lateral flow test if they have no evidence of natural immunity as above.

Or

– Evidence of natural immunity based on a positive PCR test within 180 days of the festival (including 10 days of self-isolation following the result)
