Glastonbury Festival 2022: West Holts headliner Little Simz wins Brit Award

A rapper who was due to make headlines at Glastonbury Festival 2022 has won a Brit Award.

Little Simz won Best New Artist at the awards show today (February 8).

The musician is due to headline the West Holts stage at the Somerset Festival in June.

She brought her mother on stage tonight to accept her award.

“Look what you did, mom,” she said, in one of the most emotional moments of the ceremony.

The Glastonbury Festival is set to return to Worthy Farm, Pilton this summer after two years of cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Last week, festival organizer Emily Eavis revealed that Little Simz would be a headliner on the West Holts stage.

Emily added, “We’re not at the stage of announcing the full lineup yet, but I wanted to let you know.”
