Glastonbury Festival announces dates for its 2023 ticket sales

Diaries ready – The Glastonbury Festival has announced the date tickets will go on sale for next year’s event.

The festival will take place from June 21 to 25.

Coach packages will go on sale at 6 p.m. GMT on November 3, while general tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. GMT on November 6.

All those wishing to purchase tickets must have a valid Glastonbury registration profile before the sale dates.

Tickets for the five-day festival, which is one of the biggest music events in the world, are notoriously hard to come by, with the 200,000 usually selling out in less than 30 minutes.

The November sale will take place before the acts are announced. Those who pass will secure their places by paying a deposit of £50 ($55), with the remaining balance of £230 being payable in April, once the full lineup has been announced. Ticket holders can opt for a refund at this point.

Glastonbury made a triumphant return in June after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Kendrick Lamar, Sir Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish headlined the famous Pyramid Stage for the three main days.

Early guesses for next year’s acts are that Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and Elton John will perform.

There are over 100 stages at the festival, with thousands of acts taking part each year. Apart from music, there are also spaces for performing arts, wellness, theatre, cinema and a circus.
