Hardwell to headline first release of Creamfields Vietnam

Electronic music festival Creamfields announced an expansion to Vietnam in December with Phase 1 lineup led by Hardwell.

Hardwell will be joined by Beauz, Pink Panda, Slushii and Tim Hox at the Grand World entertainment and shopping complex on Phu Quoc Island on December 17. Vietnamese producers and DJs announced in the Phase 1 lineup include DSmall, FungFung, Juno, Mike Hao, Monotape, NgoKien and more, with more acts to be announced soon.

Early bird tickets are now available through KKDay at 899,000 VND. Early Access and General Admission tickets will be available at a later date at 699,000 VND and 999,000 VND respectively, with an SVIP package that has yet to be announced.

The long-running British festival has held previous Asian editions in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China, making its Thailand debut earlier this year in the city of Pattaya on May 28-29. The Thai edition featured R3HAB, Fedde Le Grand, Jeffrey Sutorious, Jauz and more

Notably, the Thai edition became a sit-down event with a day’s notice after a local police asked attendees to refrain from dancing – a plea that was later ignored by attendees. However, the sale and consumption of alcohol was also banned by the police.

Hardwell’s current “Rebels Never Die” tour marks his return to touring performances after a hiatus in 2018. The Dutch DJ released his second studio album, also titled “Rebels Never Die”, on September 9, which notably featured a departure hardstyle that some have nicknamed Future Rave or Future Techno.
