Scot utterly baffled after Creamfields stranger hailed his Lanarkshire accent as ‘exotic’
A LANARKSHIRE boy has been completely left bewildered after a foreigner fell in love with his accent – calling him ‘EXOTIC’.
He told social media followers he was at Creamfields before he received the bizarre compliment.
Joking about the exchange on Twitter, he said: “An Englishman told me at Creamfields that I love your accent, it’s so exotic.
“I’m from North Lanarkshire, not the fucking Bahamas.”
His tweet has already racked up over 4,500 likes.
A social media user couldn’t blame the person in question, admitting: ‘Love the Lanarkshire accent though.’
Another recalled a similar situation, joking: “You’re not from Airdrie, you’re Welsh.”
And he’s not the only Scot to make an impact at Creamfields this year.
